Job summary

Maya Bank is seeking a Lending Analyst to apply statistical and data-analytic skills to manage data and solve complex business problems. You will help drive data-driven recommendations to achieve targets across the lending portfolio.

You will analyze portfolio performance, deliver insights, and support dashboard requirements while ensuring accuracy and timely management reporting. A BS degree with at least 1 year of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in BS Math/Statistics/Data Science or related.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• General awareness in Financial Management and Lending Business.
• Ability to identify, analyze and assess risks.
• Ability to drive initiatives and projects end to end.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and techniques.
• Proficient in R, Python, NumPy, MatLab and SQL.
• Tableau or similar data visualization software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IDEA for dashboard requirements.
• Assist business leads in managing the lending portfolio.

Overview: As a Lending Analyst, you will use your analytical and statistical skills in managing data and solving complex business problems of Maya Bank. You will help the business to leverage data to drive recommendations and solutions in achieving business targets.

What you will be doing:

• Use appropriate data analytics techniques to address identified business problems and evaluate portfolio performance.
• Interpret data and provide valuable insights to identify opportunities for bank customers.
• Use the integrated 360 customer views to drive-data driven business decisions from acquisition to engagement and retention.
• Utilizing both wallet and bank data, derive insights on customer behavior considering their use cases in the entire Maya ecosystem.
• Engage in the end-to-end lifecycle of data analytics from problem identification, technical design, implementation of requirements, data gathering, analysis, data visualization and story telling.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of results.
• Deliver management reports and analytics on a periodically, as well as, ad hoc reporting.
• Monitor and deliver Test and Learn Reports.
• Coordinate with IDEA for dashboard requirements.
• Assist the business leads in managing the lending portfolio.

What we are looking for:

• Must be a graduate of BS Math/Statistics/Data Science or related programs.
• With at least 1 yr of experience in data analysis and reporting
• General Awareness in Financial Management and Lending Business.
• Ability to identify, analyze and assess risks.
• Ability to drive initiatives and projects end to end.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and techniques.
• Proficient in using statistical programming languages such as R, Python, NumPy, MatLab and database querying language such as SQL.
• Tableau or similar data visualization software definitely an advantage.
