About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Legal Assistant /. Encoder to join Equicom Savings Bank, Inc. on a fixed-term contract basis. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As an Encoder, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our banking operations by inputting, verifying, and processing financial and legal data and transaction information into our systems. This position is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting our commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately input and encode legal and or financial data, transaction records, and customer information into banking systems and databases
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of source documents before data entry
• Review encoded data to identify and correct errors or discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of all encoded transactions and documentation
• Meet daily and weekly encoding targets and quality standards
• Assist in reconciling encoded data with source documents and system reports
• Support the coordination of data processing workflows with other departments
• Adhere to all banking security protocols and confidentiality requirements
• Perform additional clerical and administrative tasks as assigned

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in college education is a must
• Proven data entry experience with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
• Familiarity with banking systems or financial data processing is preferred
