Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for Corporate Finance to support daily accounting tasks onsite in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City. You will input financial data, process journal entries, and help maintain the general ledger with accuracy and confidentiality.

You will also assist in month-end reporting, verify data against supporting documents, and use Excel and ERP systems to manage high-volume data efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data entry or finance administration (fresh graduates with a strong academic record are also considered).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite for data organization and basic calculations.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain 100% accuracy during repetitive tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow structured financial processes and strict instructions.
• High level of integrity and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding sensitive corporate financial data.

Responsibilities

• Input financial data, including invoices, receipts, and payments, into the company’s accounting or ERP system.
• Encode and process assigned journal entries and financial records to maintain an up-to-date general ledger.
• Perform basic data validation and reconciliations to ensure that digital entries match physical supporting documents.
• Assist in the extraction of financial data and the preparation of spreadsheets for month-end reporting cycles.
• Flag discrepancies, missing information, or duplicate entries to senior accountants or supervisors immediately.

• Familiarity with digital document management and cloud-based filing systems for financial records.
• Proven ability to meet strict daily deadlines and manage high-volume data workloads effectively.
• Experience in performing basic bank or statement reconciliations as part of a previous finance support role.
