Outsourcey is seeking an Accounting Associate with legal industry experience in the Philippines. The role focuses on accurate recording, organizing, and reconciling financial transactions while maintaining compliant records for audits.

You will work with QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB, ensuring precise data entry and timely reporting. Collaboration with teams, vendors, and auditors is essential to uphold integrity and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB) and spreadsheets for accurate data entry and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail to spot inconsistencies in financial documentation.
• Experience reconciling high volumes of receipts, invoices, and expenses.
• Knowledge of tax requirements and record-keeping standards for regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams, vendors, auditors.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial data.

Responsibilities

• Record, categorize, and reconcile receipts, invoices, and financial transactions in the system.
• Maintain digital and physical records of receipts for auditing.
• Verify compliance of receipts with company policies, tax regulations, and controls.
• Match receipts with bank statements, POs, and invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers to support audit processes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, or clients to resolve missing or unclear receipt data.
• Assist in month-, quarter-, and year-end closings with reconciliations and reports.
• Support auditors with documentation and timely responses to queries.
