Job summary

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or technical/vocational graduates with LED experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, configure, and test LED panels, walls, and related display systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair LED panels, modules, power supplies, wiring, and related components.
• Configure and troubleshoot LED control systems and display software.
• Diagnose software, signal, connectivity, display, color, resolution, and synchronization issues.
• Conduct testing and calibration of LED displays before deployment or installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic technical servicing of LED equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Project Handler, Production Team, and Installation Team on requirements and issues.
• Read and follow technical drawings, layouts, specs, and installation instructions.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and solutions.

ROLE PURPOSE

The LED Display Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of LED panels and display systems used in company projects. The role also supports software setup and technical troubleshooting to ensure LED displays operate properly and meet project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, assemble, configure, and test LED panels, LED walls, and related display systems.

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of LED panels, modules, receiving cards, power supplies, wiring, and related components.

• Configure and troubleshoot LED control systems and display software.

• Diagnose software, signal, connectivity, display, color, resolution, and synchronization issues.

• Conduct testing and calibration of LED displays before deployment or installation.

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and basic technical servicing of LED equipment.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Project Handler, Production Team, and Installation Team regarding project requirements and technical concerns.

• Read and follow technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and installation instructions.

• Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.

• Document completed repairs, maintenance activities, technical issues, and solutions.

• Perform other technical duties related to LED and display systems as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electronics Technology, or other related technical courses.

• With knowledge and/or experience in LED panel installation, repair, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledgeable in LED display systems, controllers, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of LED display software and configuration tools is preferred.

• Can perform hands-on technical work and field installation.

• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to follow technical instructions and procedures.

• Fresh graduates or technical/vocational graduates with relevant LED experience may be considered.

ADVANTAGE

• Experience with NovaStar, Colorlight, or similar LED display control systems.

• Knowledge of LED wall configuration and calibration.

• Experience in electronics or component-level repair.

• Knowledge of networking and signal/data connections.

• Video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.

• Experience in audiovisual, digital signage, LED display, or event technology.
