TaskUs is seeking a Learning Interactions Expert to craft visually compelling eLearning modules. You will develop content, create development briefs, and collaborate with LX Design, LMS, and Design teams to produce advanced instructional media including simulations, interactive lessons, and motion graphics.
The role requires proficiency in rapid authoring tools and Adobe Creative Cloud, plus strong communication and project coordination skills to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
The Learning Interactions Expert (LIX) is responsible for creating ridiculously interactive and visually compelling eLearning modules. Additionally, LIXs may need to perform multimedia production tasks, such as image, video and audio editing, to enhance the overall quality of our e-learning content.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Learning Interactions Expert will:
Develop learning content
Conceptualize the overall look and feel of digital learning lessons.
Produce development brief outlining the mood board and suggested interactions to be used in the lesson
Coordinate with the LX Design Team to recommend the best interaction or media to present the content.
Develop advanced instructional media which includes but not limited to: guided tool simulations, interactive lessons and assessments, motion graphics instructional videos, and game-based courses.
Utilize various graphics, video, and course authoring software to develop visually appealing and modern-looking instructional media. Apply visual design principles in every single output.
Manage the overall development
Lead or work with the project team and keep track of the development progress.
Work with media developers to create the assets needed for the project
Report milestone progress, risks, and red flags to project leads and managers.
Work with other workstreams
Work with the LMS team to set up the course page and upload the content
Work with the Design team to ensure reviews are done in a timely manner
Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve the team’s processes and output.
Analyze the team’s opportunities in developing learning materials.
Plan for learning sessions.
Facilitate learning sessions.
Accomplish administrative tasks to help drive projects to timely and quality completion.
Maintain task and project trackers.
Participate in project meetings.
Provide updates to project team members.
The success of the Learning Interactions Expert is measured through:
Adherence to project timelines outlined by the project lead/manager
Presentation and application of innovative learning media within a specified period
Contribution and impact of developed media to learning, measured by Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation (Levels 1 to 3).

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Should have a proven track record of proficiency in rapid authoring tools, as well as proficiency in image, video, and audio editing software. A robust portfolio showcasing their relevant projects is essential to demonstrate their capabilities and expertise.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
Training experience is an advantage but not required.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND KNOWLEDGE
Experience developing instructional media with at least one e-learning authoring tool (Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline preferred).
Experience creating static and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Edge Animate, and so on).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of e-learning development/interaction levels.
Knowledge of Mayer’s 12 Principles of Multimedia Learning.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Storyboard Implementation: Collaborate closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to bring their creative vision to life.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of multimedia content, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in multimedia production and eLearning.
Knowledge of the ADDIE model of Instructional Design.
Knowledge of Gagne’s nine events of instruction.
Computer programming background is a plus but not a requirement.
Experience with training delivery is a big advantage.
