Job summary

Emapta Global is hiring a Learning & Development Team Lead (Finance & Accounting) to design and deliver programs that strengthen accounting capability, leadership readiness, and workforce performance across international operations.

The role emphasizes partnership with finance leaders, development of technical and leadership pathways, and management of learning processes and LMS. It offers global exposure, mentorship, and growth through Emapta Academy within a hybrid setup in Pampanga.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • 3–5 years progressive experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, audit, tax, payroll, or related operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting practices and compliance standards.
  • 1–2 years experience in training, facilitation, learning delivery, or knowledge transfer.
  • Proven experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
  • Proficiency in creating training materials, assessments, curricula, and development programs.
  • Ability to train across locations and cultures.
  • Professional accounting certification such as CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA is highly preferred.
  • Certification in training or instructional design is a plus.
  • Experience leading trainers or accounting teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage the Learning & Development program portfolio across international finance and accounting domains.
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with leaders to design targeted learning solutions.
  • Develop technical and leadership pathways and track outcomes with learning analytics.
  • Coordinate onboarding, leadership, technical, and compliance programs end-to-end.
  • Manage attendance, certifications, and LMS administration.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture and Talent Acquisition on talent development initiatives.
  • Ensure content is current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, audit, tax, payroll, or related financial operations
  • Strong knowledge of Australian, North American, and international accounting practices, principles, financial reporting requirements, processes, and compliance standards
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in training, facilitation, coaching, learning delivery, or knowledge transfer, preferably within shared services, BPO, outsourcing, or professional services
  • Proven experience developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs for accounting and finance professionals
  • Practical experience creating training materials, process documentation, learning assessments, curricula, and competency-based development programs
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and mentor employees across different locations, cultures, and experience levels
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms, such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial applications
  • Strong capabilities in instructional design, curriculum development, learning analytics, strategic planning, resource planning, and performance management
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Professional accounting certification, such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA, highly preferred
  • Certification in training, facilitation, instructional design, or adult learning considered an advantage
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience considered an advantage, particularly in managing trainers, subject matter experts, or accounting teams
Responsibilities
Learning and Development Program Delivery
  • Support the organization's Learning and Development strategy and annual learning plan.
  • Coordinate and deliver initiatives aligned with business priorities and employee development needs.
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend learning solutions in partnership with managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop technical, professional, and leadership learning pathways.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
Learning Needs Analysis and Capability Development
  • Partner with leaders and employees to identify learning requirements and capability priorities.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and use data to determine development needs.
  • Develop competency frameworks, skills matrices, and structured development pathways.
  • Support career development, internal mobility, organizational capability, and workforce readiness through targeted learning solutions.
Program Coordination and Facilitation
  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of onboarding, leadership, technical, professional, compliance, graduate, and early-career learning programs.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, coaching, mentoring, and peer-learning activities.
  • Manage program schedules, participant communications, logistics, and learning resources.
  • Maintain attendance records, certifications, and program documentation.
  • Support the administration and ongoing management of the Learning Management System.
Stakeholder Partnership and Learner Support
  • Build productive relationships with leaders, managers, and employees to understand their learning needs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for learning and development inquiries.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture and Talent Acquisition teams on talent development initiatives.
  • Assist managers in creating employee development plans.
  • Encourage participation and engagement in learning opportunities.
Learning Content and Resource Development
  • Design, adapt, and curate learning materials, assessments, resources, and tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and engaging content.
  • Create blended learning solutions using classroom, virtual, and self-paced formats.
  • Maintain current learning materials aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Research learning trends and best practices to improve programs.
Learning Operations and Quality Assurance
  • Monitor program quality and participant experience across learning activities.
  • Ensure initiatives comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate vendors and maintain relationships with external training providers.
  • Support budget monitoring, reporting, and resource allocation.
  • Improve learning processes, systems, and programs continuously.
Learning Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor participation, completion, attendance, engagement, learner satisfaction, and feedback.
  • Evaluate capability improvements, compliance completion, and leadership program effectiveness.
  • Assess internal mobility, career development, return on investment, and business impact, where applicable.
  • Analyze learning data and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for stakeholders and senior leaders.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Stay informed about emerging learning trends, technologies, and development practices.
  • Recommend innovative approaches that enhance employee learning experiences.
  • Support the adoption of digital learning tools and contemporary methodologies.
  • Contribute to projects and improvements that strengthen organizational capability, learning effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
