Job summary

Patrila Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our construction team in Pavia, Iloilo. This full-time role oversees daily on-site operations, manages labour teams, and ensures quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of project management and quality control principles.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
• Strong English communication; knowledge of additional local languages is beneficial.
• Certification in construction safety or First Aid is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications.
• Monitor daily work progress and report updates to project management and clients.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control standards and address deficiencies.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring proper storage and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Train and mentor construction workers, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
• Document work completion, project timelines, and any incidents or concerns that arise during construction.
• Liaise between site operations and management to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
