Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking an accomplished strategy professional to lead revenue and profitability initiatives for Shopee Singapore's businesses. You will structure complex problems, conduct analysis, and deliver end-to-end strategic projects, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, stakeholder communication, and driving commercial growth across categories. Prior consulting experience and AI/tool familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting experience at top-tier firms.
• Exposure to consumer, retail, e-commerce or AI-related projects is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI, chatbots, automation tools or tech-enabled workflows is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Solid business acumen with understanding of category performance, seller needs and buyer behaviour.
• Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

• Drive commercial growth and profitability initiatives across relevant categories and business areas
• Structure ambiguous business problems through opportunity sizing, benchmarking, analysis, and scalable strategy development
• Deliver end-to-end strategic projects, from development and implementation to business case realisation
• Develop materials for senior stakeholders to support timely and effective communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any field a Master's degree would be advantageous but is not required
• Minimum 3 years of full-time strategy working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, excluding internship and part-time work experience
• Exposure to consumer, retail, e-commerce, category management, or AI-related projects would be advantageous
• Familiarity with AI, chatbots, automation tools, or technology-enabled workflow improvements is beneficial
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand category performance, seller needs, and buyer behaviour
