Job summary

Newport World Resorts is seeking a Resorts Security Duty Officer to oversee security operations, supervise personnel, manage incidents, and enforce protocols protecting guests, employees, and assets.

You will conduct risk assessments, coordinate with the Emergency Response Team, and prepare daily reports while responding promptly to incidents with appropriate actions across departments and with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• College graduate in criminology or security management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising security operations, preferably in hospitality or gaming.
• Professional Security Certification LESP or willingness to train for it.
• Ability to work in shifting schedules or graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations and supervise security personnel.
• Manage incident response and coordinate with other departments and law enforcement.
• Prepare and submit daily security reports and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
• Assist Emergency Response Team during emergencies.
• Coordinate with security agency for deployment of personnel and after-action reports.
