SuperStaff in Makati, Philippines, seeks an experienced Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor to optimize purchasing decisions and inventory performance using expert Excel skills and advanced analytics. This hands-on role evaluates purchasing requirements, analyzes trends, resolves issues within budgets, and drives ownership of outcomes.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business judgment and capability to generate actionable insights across functions.

Qualifications

Substantial experience in purchasing, procurement, and inventory management with ownership of operational decisions.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to build, validate, and explain analytical reports and models.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and turn findings into actionable steps.

Responsibilities

Evaluate purchasing requirements using inventory levels, demand trends, supplier lead times, and business priorities.
Determine purchasing quantities and timing within established policies and approval limits.
Assess supplier options based on pricing, quality, availability, and delivery reliability.
Coordinate purchase orders, monitor outstanding orders, and resolve shortages, delays, and discrepancies.
Make timely operational decisions and elevate exceptions with clear analyses and recommended actions.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining product availability and service expectations.
Monitor stock levels and replenishment to support business continuity.
Analyse historical usage to recommend reorder points and safety stock levels.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in applicable systems.
Balance inventory availability with carrying costs and working capital.
