Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Business or related field, 2–3 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management, preferably in a distribution or logistics setting
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchasing data to forecast inventory needs and support procurement decisions
• Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies
• Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and service
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy and availability
• Reconcile purchase orders with inventory receipts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations
