Job summary

SUMO Services Corporation seeks an experienced Estimator in Metro Manila to lead pricing, take-offs, and tender support for construction projects. You will convert won bids into production plans, define requirements, and ensure alignment with contracts.

Role requires strong attention to detail, experience with Australian construction practices, and ability to manage multiple estimating and procurement tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Australian construction experience; 5 years' production estimating experience preferred.
• Strong production estimating skills across materials, construction methods, sequencing, and quantities.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, shop drawings, and Scope of Works documentation.
• Experience preparing mark-ups and client-facing quotes.
• Construction contracts administration experience, including insurance, compliance, subcontractor documentation, and registers.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction practices and documentation.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple estimating, procurement, and administrative tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimating mark-ups and client quotes in line with pricing strategy.
• Validate estimates for buildability, materials, scope, and cost accuracy.
• Support Sales with complex, high-value, or high-volume tenders.
• Convert won projects into detailed production jobs.
• Complete quantity take-offs and confirm scope against contract documents.
• Define material, labour, subcontractor, and project requirements.
• Prepare Scope of Works and Material Take-Offs.
• Complete job set-up and handover to the construction team.
• Feed construction outcomes and lessons learned back into estimating.
