Job summary

Confidential Jobs in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support procurement and cost management across tendering and project execution. Responsibilities include preparing detailed BOQs, cost estimates, bid evaluation, and contract/commercial reviews, with a focus on value optimization and risk control.

You will collaborate with project teams and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing, timely cost reporting, and compliant procurement governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or procurement.
Experience in construction, fit-out or CAPEX procurement preferred.
Strong cost estimation and commercial analysis skills.
Ability to review contracts and cost-related provisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budgets.
Validate estimates, supplier quotes, BOQs, and variation claims.
Provide inputs for RFQs, bidding, canvassing, and supplier evaluation.
Conduct bid evaluation comparing unit rates, quantities, exclusions, assumptions, alternates, and logistics.
Establish cost benchmarks for materials, labor, equipment, fabrication, and other project needs.
Support negotiations with cost analyses and should-cost data.
Review payment milestones, retention, warranties, and price escalation.
Monitor project costs and identify potential budget overruns.
Ensure cost estimates align with procurement policies and approvals.
