Job summary

SimCorp Manila is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Platform Automation team. You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation pipelines for core products, collaborating across Copenhagen, Kyiv, and Manila. You will mentor others and contribute to architectural decisions while staying current with industry trends.

The role emphasizes craft, collaboration, and delivering scalable automation solutions in a hybrid work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern programming languages, especially C#.
• Proven CI/CD implementation experience.
• Strong build automation knowledge and design patterns.
• Testing, including unit/integration and TDD.
• IaC principles and practices; cloud familiarity (Azure).
• Strong collaboration and mentoring across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance applications and pipelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Product Owner, and System Architect to translate requirements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and raise technical bar.
• Contribute across all stages of the development lifecycle, from user stories to automated testing.
• Ensure code quality and technical excellence.
• Research tools/frameworks for future innovations.
