Job summary

SimCorp seeks a Principal Software Engineer to join the Platform Automation team. You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation pipelines for core products, collaborating with engineers across Copenhagen, Kyiv and Manila to enable scalable releases.

You will mentor peers, apply modern patterns, and stay current with cloud technologies, contributing to technical strategy in a global, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and modern programming practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and software architecture.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, and TDD.
• IaC concepts and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance applications and pipelines for reliability and capability.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Product Owner, System Architect, and stakeholders to turn product vision into technical requirements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues to raise the technical bar.
• Involve all stages of the development lifecycle from user stories to automated testing.
• Ensure code quality; research tools and frameworks for future innovation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to improve solutions and practices.
