Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Supervisor, Paralegal Services in the Philippines to oversee daily operations of Legal Operations and paralegal support. You will lead and coach the team, escalate complex matters, and collaborate with Stateside teams to maintain service levels and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.

The role requires 5+ years of direct legal experience, strong leadership, and healthcare knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Management or related discipline is required.
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
• 5+ years direct experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or corporate/shared services environment is required.
• 5+ years experience leading teams or supervisory roles is required.
• Healthcare experience is required.
• Experience working with U.S. legal teams or global shared services environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Legal Operations and Paralegal professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex, high-risk, or non-standard legal and operational matters.
• Partner with Stateside Legal teams to ensure alignment on priorities, service expectations, and quality standards.
• Drive execution of legal operations strategy, including process optimization, technology utilization, and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor team performance through KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards; identify trends and implement improvements.
• Oversee daily intake, workflow management, and prioritization of legal requests to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Provide hands-on support by stepping in to perform paralegal and legal operations work during peak periods, staffing gaps, or critical initiatives.
