Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to head the design and deployment of mechanical systems for data centers and Cable Landing Stations (CLS).

You will drive HVAC, cooling, and fire suppression design, ensuring energy-efficient, scalable, and compliant solutions across projects. Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of consulting experience in electrical engineering, focused on data centers or CLS projects.
• Experience designing HVAC, cooling, fire suppression for data centers/CLS.
• Proficient in engineering calculations (thermal loads, airflow, sizing).
• Knowledge of energy-efficient, mission-critical design practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for data centers and CLS, incl. HVAC, cooling, fire suppression.
• Ensure systems are energy-efficient, scalable, reliable, and compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with Data Center Design Manager, Lead Electrical Engineer, and other departments for integration.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure best practices in design challenges.
• Work with Project Management to resolve installation and operation issues.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical systems for performance and safety.
• Drive ongoing optimization and efficiency during operation phases.
• Provide guidance for troubleshooting and continuous performance improvement.
• Escalate issues to the Data Center Design Manager; unresolved items go to VP & Head of Data Center Planning.
