Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to take technical ownership of HVAC, cooling, and fire protection for data centers and mission-critical facilities.

You will work with electrical, structural, ICT teams and contractors to ensure integrated, reliable designs suitable for 24/7 operation. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably on data-center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience in HVAC, cooling, fire protection, and related systems.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering of data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Develop reliable, energy-efficient, scalable mechanical solutions for 24/7 operations.
• Perform thermal/cooling load, airflow, equipment sizing, and pump head calculations.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, and calculations; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Review external submissions and provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning.
