Job summary

BPO International, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Supervisor (Pampanga) to lead design activities for data center and Cable Landing Station projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is required; PME license preferred but not required.
• Experience designing HVAC, cooling, fire suppression for data centers and CLS facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, TRACE and CFD tools.
• Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical design activities for data center and CLS projects.
• Design, develop, and review HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and related systems for mission-critical facilities.
• Perform and validate engineering calculations (thermal loads, airflow, pump head, sizing).
• Use design software and thermal modeling tools to evaluate designs.
• Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local codes.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Identify energy efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical team.
• Assist in project planning and coordination for successful delivery.
