Job summary

Advanced Energy is hiring a Material Control Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and production coordination, kitting, and material control. You will lead the material center team, drive productivity, and ensure accurate inventory and timely material availability for production.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, experience in material control, and a track record of improving warehouse performance while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Admin, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Warehouse Ops, Material Control, Inventory or Supply Chain.
• Proven supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and production coordination, kitting, and material control for efficient flow.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet requirements and objectives.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and performance; coach and develop staff.
• Set performance goals and communicate expectations to the team.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, proper handling, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely material availability for production.
• Investigate issues and customer complaints; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records, timekeeping, and operational documentation for reporting.
• Prepare performance, inventory and operations reports for management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of material center personnel.
• Enforce safety rules and SOPs; ensure regulatory compliance.
