Job summary
Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Application Lead for IBM z/OS Systems Administration to guide technical teams responsible for mainframe administration, configuration, and support.
You will act as a SME with strong MQ expertise, leading delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders. You will coordinate development, configuration, and implementation activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and timelines, while demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IBM Systems Administration experience.
- Strong hands-on IBM z/OS and WebSphere MQ expertise.
- Proven experience leading technical/development teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for IBM z/OS Systems Administration and MQ.
- Lead and coordinate technical teams for delivery and performance.
- Make technical and team-level decisions on app and sys admin.
- Collaborate with multiple teams on key decisions and initiatives.
- Provide solutions to complex technical problems within teams.
- Lead app development, configuration, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on technical and business requirements.
- Oversee design, construction, configuration and implementation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IBM mainframe environments and related apps.
- Ensure projects and deliverables meet timelines.
