Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in fiber optic network design and engineering.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, GIS tools, and Fiber Optic Planning Tools.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, including splicing and termination.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and be deployed to different project sites.
• CFOT certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for fiber optic networks including route planning and equipment selection.
• Prepare engineering documentation such as construction drawings, splice plans, and BOM.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments to optimize network performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Evaluate cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Design upgrades to existing networks to enhance capacity and resilience.
• Provide technical support for network design and implementation issues.
