Job summary

Spacey Design Manila is seeking a Lead Estimator to steer the estimating team, ensuring quotations are fast, accurate, and profitable. You will oversee the entire estimating process, coordinating with Design, Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and Management to keep proposals executable and on-target.

The role calls for 5+ years in estimating for construction-related projects, with strong Excel and costing-tool skills, and experience leading a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, fit-outs, fabrication, events, exhibits, or design-build projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, fabrication processes, materials, and project execution.
• Proven ability to prepare and review quotations under tight deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.
• Advanced Excel and costing tools experience.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Ensure fast turnaround of quotation requests without compromising accuracy
• Develop and maintain costing databases, templates, and estimating standards
• Track estimate accuracy and recommend improvements based on actual project costs

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Estimator to lead our estimating team and ensure that quotations are delivered quickly, accurately, and profitably. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire estimating process—from reviewing project requirements and preparing cost estimates to validating quotations, developing team capability, and improving estimating standards. You will work closely with Design, Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and Management to ensure every proposal is executable, competitive, and aligned with company targets.

• AutoCAD proficiency is an advantageEngineering background (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) is preferred
