Job summary

Black & White Engineering Pte. Ltd. specializes in delivering high‑performance, resilient infrastructure for data centres and mission‑critical environments. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design, oversee HV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and ensure uptime and N+1 redundancy.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, engage clients, and drive energy efficiency and BIM-enabled design across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward accreditation.
• Experience on data centre or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and UPS systems.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of electrical systems for data centres and critical infrastructure.
• Develop and review HV/LV power distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, switchgear, and critical power systems.
• Ensure designs meet uptime and redundancy requirements (N+1, 2N).
• Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Manage electrical engineering packages from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with mechanical, ICT, structural, BIM teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and risk management activities.
• Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT processes, and commissioning.
