Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. seeks a seasoned Section Head of Digital Channels Engineering to drive operational health, performance, and day-to-day management of our digital banking platforms.

You will lead multiple teams including resolution managers, address technical debt, and oversee platform initiatives to ensure stability and high availability. A hands-on, results-driven leader is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 10–12 years in enterprise software development and implementation, with 5–7 years in technical leadership or management.
• Experience leading technical teams in financial services or digital banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical roadmap for the digital banking platform and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Drive reduction of technical debt and optimization for speed and availability.
• Directly manage a team of Resolution Managers and oversee platform KPIs and SLAs.
• Mentor multiple technical teams and participate in hiring and staff development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align services and support.
