Job summary

ZLab International in Laguna, Philippines is seeking an experienced R&D Supervisor to lead our R&D, QA, and QC operations for cosmetic products. You will oversee product development, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and manage the laboratory team to support safe, effective cosmetics.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in cosmetic manufacturing, at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or Cosmetic Science.
• Licensed Chemist or Licensed Pharmacist preferred.
• 3–5 years of cosmetic manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in R&D, QA, or QC.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the R&D, QA, and QC teams.
• Develop new cosmetic products and improve existing formulations.
• Ensure products comply with FDA regulations, GMP, and company quality standards.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Review and approve product formulations, specifications, and quality documents.
• Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and other departments during product development and manufacturing.
• Maintain laboratory operations, equipment, and documentation.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
• Support regulatory audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
