Job summary

Onward Worldwide Management & Consultancy is seeking a Head Cook / Head Chef to lead daily hot kitchen production in our café, ensuring quality, portion control, and timely service in line with menu standards.

You will test and standardize recipes, manage inventory, train staff, and collaborate with Barista and service teams to deliver consistent food experiences while upholding food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant café/restaurant experience.
• Proven head cook or senior kitchen leadership experience.
• Strong hot food preparation and recipe standardization skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control.
• Ability to train and coach kitchen staff.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily preparation and production of café hot meals.
• Test and standardize recipes to ensure taste, yield, and presentation.
• Maintain food quality, inventory, FIFO and minimize waste.
• Ensure sanitation, food safety, and proper kitchen operations.
• Coordinate with management and service team for menu implementation.
• Train kitchen staff on procedures and standards.
