Job summary

Claymore Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to own end-to-end AP operations in a fast-growing startup finance team in the Philippines. You will manage invoices, payments, vendor relations, and month-end close with hands-on ownership and opportunities to build the AP function from the ground up.

You will implement controls and SOPs, design workflows, and identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of AP or accounting experience including full AP cycle, payments, vendor management, reconciliations, and month-end support.
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with an accounting/ERP system (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Xero).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, AP controls, and payment processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools Claude and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle: receive, validate, code, and process invoices; monitor aging; flag duplicates or issues.
• Run end-to-end payment cycles: verify banking details; coordinate approvals; ensure compliance with approvals matrix.
• Act as primary vendor contact for AP matters; resolve disputes; coordinate onboarding.
• Perform vendor and GL reconciliations; clear aged items; ensure balances are accurate.
• Own AP month-end close: cut-offs, accruals, aging schedules, audit documentation.
• Help build AP function from scratch: document SOPs, design workflows, define KPIs/SLAs, identify automation opportunities.
• Use Claude and ChatGPT to streamline reporting, reconciliations, anomaly detection, and SOP drafting.
• Supervise, train, and QA AP Analysts; serve as escalation point for AP issues.

Education
