Job summary

2GO Group is seeking an experienced LBE maintenance leader in Pasay to head the maintenance team, drive preventive and corrective maintenance, and minimize downtime across diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and other equipment issues.
• Maintain LBE equipment in optimum operating condition to minimize downtime.
• Identify required parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment for repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect equipment condition and recommend replacement of worn, damaged, or defective components.
• Lead equipment overhauling activities, including inspection, disassembly, repair, reconditioning, and reassembly.
• Recondition parts and assemblies to support spare-parts availability and reduce equipment downtime.
• Supervise and provide hands‑on technical guidance to mechanical technicians and electricians.
• Train and mentor technicians through the buddy‑system approach.
• Collaborate with LBE operators and technicians to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with established safety standards.
• Assist vendors and service providers during equipment repair, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Review and validate vendor assessments to ensure recommended parts, repairs, and services are technically necessary and appropriate.

What You’ll Do

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

You're a good fit if...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related course.
• At least 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with at least 1 year of LBE experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and maintenance planning.
• Technical expertise in diesel engine diagnostics and repair, transmission systems, preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic tools, spare‑parts management, and equipment reliability.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues and identify defective, worn, or damaged components.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while minimizing equipment downtime.
• Valid driver’s license.
• NC II certification is an advantage.
