Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a motivated engineer to install, qualify, maintain and optimize laser assembly and test equipment to ensure high reliability, performance and production readiness in a cleanroom environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement using data-driven methods, RCA, FMEA, and DOE while supporting training for production personnel to maximize yield and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• Experience or exposure to equipment installation, calibration and preventive maintenance is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, maintain and optimize laser assembly and test equipment for high reliability and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
