Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Physics.
• Strong knowledge of laser devices, product lifecycle management, and NPI.
• Experience with statistical analysis, RCA, FMEA, DOE, and yield improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle from development to changes, including NPI and ramp-up.
• Monitor yield, quality, and manufacturing performance; implement improvements.
• Support product qualification, engineering changes, compliance with standards.
• Lead RCA and corrective actions for product and customer issues (RMA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.

Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managingthe product lifecycle by supporting product development, new product introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, sustaining engineering, and product changes throughout the product lifecycle
• Drive product performance by monitoring product yield, quality, and manufacturing performance, and implement improvements to meet business and customer requirements
• Ensure product compliance by supporting product qualification, engineering change management, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Resolve technical issues by leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and customer issues (example: RMA) to ensure stable and efficient production.
• Optimize manufacturing processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, increase yields, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Physics or its equivalents. Highly motivated recent college graduate is encouraged to apply.

• Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of laser devices, product lifecycle management, manufacturing processes, and new product introduction (NPI).
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Proficient in statistical analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, DOE, and yield improvement methodologies to resolve product and process issues.
• Product Characterization: Experience in product qualification, performance characterization and failure analysis to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Ability to drive yield enhancement, cost reduction, process optimization, and engineering change implementation using Lean manufacturing principles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective in working with R&D, Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver robust, manufacturable, and customer-focused products.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite in a cleanroom or office environment.
