Job summary

GHD is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Architecture & Design group in the Philippines. The role covers landscape design from concept through detailed design, BIM coordination, and independent project delivery.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers across service lines, ensuring code compliance and producing design reports. The position requires at least 5 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D tools, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Understand UAE authorities’ requirements and coordinate with various disciplines.
• Middle East design/construction knowledge desired.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp and 3D tools.
• Proficient in Revit scheduling and family creation.

Responsibilities

• Provide landscape design solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Lead design documentation and coordinate with Lead Designer.
• Manage and deliver landscape design projects independently.
• Lead BIM delivery and coordinate a design team.
• Supervise daily activities and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate with Architects/Engineers across disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
• Lead production of project reports and detailing.
• Collaborate across service lines.
• Mentor and train junior staff.

We have a great opportunity for Landscape Architect to join our Architecture & Design group.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide landscape design solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Perform all phases of the design process including concept, schematic and detailed design documentation. Lead the design documentation in coordination with Lead Designer.
• Manage, deliver and coordinate landscape design projects independently.
• Lead technical BIM delivery, coordinating a team on more complex design options.
• Supervise and undertake the daily activities of a project with the design team including allocating and checking work and providing feedback on performance.
• Coordinate with Architects and Engineers for resolution of related issues with the lead designer. Coordinate across all disciplines.
• Understand all applicable local codes and standards requirements.
• Lead the production of project design reports and detailing and also involve in the delivery.
• Work in close collaboration with colleagues across service lines.
• Supervise, support and train less experienced members of the team.

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Understands all applicable UAE authorities’ requirements and coordinates with various discipline’s technical inputs into a project.
• Middle East experience and working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region.
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-up (or similar 3D programs), Lumion, Enscape, In-Design, Illustrator, Excel, and other MS Office programs
• Able to use Revit tools and elements in LA documentation (from concept to IFC) and Revit scheduling.Able to create Revit family – parametric
• Experience with the softscape, grading, hardscape and specifications
• Applies broad knowledge of a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of technical practices demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business.
• Available to work from 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM

This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or Cebu City, depending on your home base/location.
