Job summary

GHD is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Architecture & Design group in the Philippines. The role involves delivering landscape design from concept through detailed design and leading BIM coordination with the design team.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, InDesign, Illustrator and Excel, and knowledge of UAE/ Middle East standards. Availability to work 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Understands UAE authorities’ requirements and coordinates with multiple disciplines.
• Middle East experience and region-specific design/construction practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, InDesign, Illustrator, Excel and MS Office.
• Able to create Revit families – parametric.
• Experience with softscape, grading, hardscape and specifications.
• Available to work from 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide landscape design solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Lead design documentation and BIM delivery in coordination with Lead Designer.
• Manage, deliver and coordinate landscape design projects independently.
• Lead technical BIM delivery, coordinating a team on complex options.
• Supervise daily activities and provide feedback on performance.
• Coordinate with Architects and Engineers across disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
• Lead production of project design reports and detailing.
• Collaborate across service lines and train junior staff.

Landscape Architect

We have a great opportunity to join our Architecture & Design group.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide landscape design solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Perform all phases of the design process including concept, schematic and detailed design documentation. Lead the design documentation in coordination with Lead Designer.
• Manage, deliver and coordinate landscape design projects independently.
• Lead technical BIM delivery, coordinating a team on more complex design options.
• Supervise and undertake the daily activities of a project with the design team including allocating and checking work and providing feedback on performance.
• Coordinate with Architects and Engineers for resolution of related issues with the lead designer. Coordinate across all disciplines.
• Understand all applicable local codes and standards requirements.
• Lead the production of project design reports and detailing and also involve in the delivery.
• Work in close collaboration with colleagues across service lines.
• Supervise, support and train less experienced members of the team.

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Understands all applicable UAE authorities’ requirements and coordinates with various disciplines’ technical inputs into a project.
• Middle East experience and working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region.
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketch‑up (or similar 3D programs), Lumion, Enscape, In‑Design, Illustrator, Excel, and other MS Office programs.
• Able to use Revit tools and elements in LA documentation (from concept to IFC) and Revit scheduling. Able to create Revit families – parametric.
• Experience with the softscape, grading, hardscape and specifications.
• Applies broad knowledge of a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of technical practices demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business.
• Available to work from 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM.

This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or Cebu City, depending on your home base/location. Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
