Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor.
• Passed the Philippine Bar Examinations and a licensed attorney.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts including relevant legal documents.
• Ensure land legal-related documents are proper and complete.
• Assist departments in troubleshooting legal issues.
• Communicate with internal/external parties to explain rights and obligations in instruments.
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Study relevant laws and ordinances and propose actionable items to improve efficiency.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Draft and reviews contracts (e.g. Contract to Sell, Deed of Absolute Sale, Extrajudicial Settlement of Estate, Easement Agreements).
• Review due diligence requirements and ensure that land legal-related documents are proper and complete.
• Assists various departments in troubleshooting legal issues and recommends the best possible course of action with prevailing laws and jurisprudence as the basis thereof.
• Communicate with internal and external parties in the contract to properly explain the rights and obligations imposed by such legal instruments.
• Liaises with government agencies to ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations promulgated by such entities.
• Studies relevant laws and ordinances and recommend possible actionable items to the team and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all activities within the company.
