Job summary

Terra Solar Philippines seeks a Land Database and GIS Specialist to lead geodetic engineering activities for land acquisition and permitting across power generation projects. The role requires a geodetic engineering background, licensure, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong data analysis and GIS tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Professional Geodetic Engineer license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geodetic surveying, land acquisition, and permits.
• Strong knowledge of land-use regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in surveying software and GIS tools.

Job Description

As a Land Acquisition and GIS Officer (GeodeticEngineer) at Terra Solar Philippines, you will lead geodetic engineering activitiesrelated to land acquisition and permitting for various power generationprojects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements while supporting the company’sobjectives for sustainable energy development.

Key Responsibilities:

Land Acquisition:

• Overseethe geodetic surveying activities for land acquisition purposes.
• Coordinatewith landowners, stakeholders, and governmental agencies to facilitate theacquisition of necessary permits and land rights.

Surveying and Mapping:

• Leadthe design and execution of geodetic surveys to collect and analyzespatial data.
• Utilizeadvanced surveying technologies and tools to ensure accurate datacollection and reporting.
• Ensurecompliance with all regulatory requirements related to land acquisitionand geodetic surveys.
• Prepareand submit necessary documentation and reports to local and nationalregulatory bodies.
• Managea team of geodetic engineers and surveyors, providing guidance, training,and support.
• Fostera collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and bestpractices in geodetic engineering.

Project Coordination:

• Collaboratewith project managers, environmental specialists, and other engineeringdisciplines to align geodetic activities with project timelines andobjectives.
• Monitorproject progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines andbudgetary constraints.

Key Qualification:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Geodetic Engineering, Surveying, or related field; a Master’sdegree is preferred.
• Professionallicensing as a Geodetic Engineer.
• Minimumof 5 years of experience in geodetic surveying, land acquisition, andpermitting, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strongknowledge of relevant regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellentleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiencyin surveying software and GIS tools.
