Due to business expansion, we are actively seeking a Project Associate for the Business Development to be based in Philippines. This role reports to the Head of Business Development and Country Manager, Philippines.

Role & Responsibilities

The Project Associate (Licensed Geodetic Engineer) will support the development and execution of renewable energy projects by assisting in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, permitting, land acquisition, and project documentation activities. As a licensed Geodetic Engineer, he/she will also provide technical support on survey, mapping, and geospatial requirements to facilitate project development and implementation.

Project Development Functions

• Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project development activities and milestones.
• Assist in securing permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals from national government agencies, local government units, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with landowners, local government units, host communities, and government agencies on project-related matters.
• Support land acquisition, right-of-way negotiations, and due diligence activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Maintain project databases, trackers, and document repositories to ensure timely reporting and monitoring of project progress.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and stakeholder meetings in support of project development activities.
• Assist in the preparation of management updates, project reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate logistics and administrative requirements for meetings, site visits, and consultations.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager or Development Manager.

Geodetic Engineering and Technical Support

• Provide technical support on survey and mapping requirements for project development activities.
• Conduct, supervise, or coordinate topographic, boundary, relocation, and control surveys as required.
• Review and validate survey plans, technical descriptions, maps, and geospatial data.
• Process and analyze survey information using GIS, AutoCAD, and other geospatial software.
• Coordinate with survey contractors and consultants to ensure timely delivery of survey outputs.
• Support site identification, project layout development, and feasibility studies.
• Verify land boundaries, cadastral information, and other land-related technical requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and review of survey-related permits and regulatory submissions.

Ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geodetic Engineering.
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in project development, infrastructure, power, or renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Experience in surveying, GIS, mapping, and land development is an advantage.
• Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, surveying software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with land titling, cadastral records, property research, and government permitting processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced project environment.

Travel

• Willing to travel extensively and conduct fieldwork as required.
