Job summary

SGS Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Data Validation Specialist II with LC-MS/GC-MS experience to validate, calculate, and report results in a GMP-like environment. The role involves data processing, QA checks, LIMS entries, and mentoring Data Validator I staff.

Requires MS or BSc with 3+ years' chromatography/mass spectrometry experience, and proficiency with MassHunter/MultiQuant/Analyst; knowledge of ISO17025 and SGS quality procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry preferred; BSc with 3+ yrs experience acceptable.
• 3+ years working experience with LC-MS and/or GC-MS instrumentation required.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS injection techniques (headspace GC a plus).
• Lab testing across multiple matrices (non-food products) preferred.
• Knowledge of MassHunter, MultiQuant, Analyst software platforms required; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs data processing, QA calculations, and LIMS entries; conducts peer reviews for error reduction.
• Trains and provides feedback to Data Validator I team members.
• Ensures turnaround times and adherence to ISO17025 and SGS lab standards.
• Maintains data integrity and quality control procedures; communicates issues to management.
• Participates in meetings to address ongoing issues and training needs.
