Job summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Data Analyst to join our Global Business Solutions center in the Philippines. The role centers on processing data, validating results, and reporting lab data to strict quality standards.

You will apply ISO17025 procedures, use LIMS and chromatography data, and ensure accuracy and timely turnaround. Strong English, Excel, and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry preferred) or other science degree related courses.
• Minimum of one year lab experience, including at least 6 months HPLC, GC and/or GC-MS operating experience with formal training.
• Experience with LIMS and Chemstation or Mass Hunter software is a plus.
• Experience with data review of lab results.
• Commitment to data quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Performs data processing functions, including laboratory data calculations and data management.
• Ensures ISO17025 compliance and SGS lab standards where applicable.
• Keeps deadlines; notifies supervisor if turnaround time cannot be met.
• Maintains knowledge of required analytical procedures in the section.
• Adopts operational improvement activities to enhance quality and efficiency.
