Job summary

SGS is seeking a Data Validator with experience in HPLC, LC-MS and/or GC-MS to join the Global Business Solutions center. The role focuses on data processing, validation and reporting of lab results for Food matrix samples in a chemical laboratory setting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and at least one year of chromatography experience, with Mass Spectrometry knowledge preferred. Strong English communication and a commitment to data quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree, Chemistry preferred.
• At least one year working experience with LC or GC chromatography.
• Mass spectrometry knowledge preferred.
• Lab testing experience with Food matrix; environmental samples a plus.
• Proficiency with Chromalion, MassHunter, MultiQuant, Analyst software.
• Strong data quality and operational excellence mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Hybrid work arrangement may differ; on-site 2 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs data processing, validation and reporting of lab results for Food matrix samples.
• Ensures lab deadlines are met and notifies supervisor if turnaround time cannot be met.
• Ensures testing follows ISO17025 and SGS lab standards.
• Keeps management informed of operational issues and training needs.
