Job summary

SGS, a world leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, seeks a Data Validator for the GBS center in the Philippines. You will validate, calculate and report lab results, ensuring strict quality and ethical standards while supporting data processing and quality-control checks.

Requires a BS in Chemistry or related field, plus at least 1 year of lab experience including HPLC/GC-MS, and familiarity with LIMS and Chemstation or Mass Hunter.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science field.
At least 1 year lab experience including 6 months SEM analysis, HPLC, GC and/or GC-MS with training.
Experience with LIMS and Chemstation or Mass Hunter is a plus.
Experience with data review of lab results.
Commitment to data quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct data processing, calculations and report lab results to quality standards.
Perform quality checks, LIMS entries and data management tasks.
Adhere to ISO17025 and SGS lab standards; meet turnaround times.
Notify supervisor of issues affecting performance or deadlines.
Support operational improvements and maintain a clean, compliant work area.
