Job summary

SGS Philippines is seeking a Chemistry Analyst to perform data processing of Food matrix samples in our GBS center, validating and reporting lab results to exacting quality standards, in compliance with ISO17025.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemistry, at least one year in chromatography (LC/GC), strong Excel skills, and clear communication. You will work in a hybrid setup and collaborate closely with the Lab team to ensure timely, accurate data delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field.
• At least 1 year of chromatography experience (LC/GC) required.
• Mass spectrometry knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with Food matrix testing is preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory data calculations and data management.
• Enter data in LIMS and ensure timely reporting of results.
• Adhere to ISO17025 and SGS lab standards.
• Notify supervisor when turnaround times cannot be met.
• Collaborate with Affiliate staff to address issues and training needs.
