Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience in sample preparation, testing procedures and safe handling of chemicals.
• Ability to interpret data and troubleshoot analytical results.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality management systems and relevant health and environmental regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.

Role Description

The Laboratory Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Muntinlupa City, responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory analyses in accordance with established methods and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting tests on water, wastewater, and other matrices, and documenting results accurately in laboratory information systems. The Laboratory Analyst will support quality control procedures, participate in instrument calibration and verification, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory requirements. The role also involves interpreting analytical data, assisting in method development or improvement, and collaborating with technical staff to troubleshoot issues or optimize workflows. The Laboratory Analyst will adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in support of client and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Hands-on laboratory skills in sample preparation, testing procedures, and safe handling of chemicals and specimens.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, with practical experience in instrumentation and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality control practices, including adherence to standard operating procedures and documentation of QC results.
• Experience with calibration of instruments and measuring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Medical Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality management systems and relevant health and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work systematically, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary laboratory teams.
