Job summary

Private Advertiser in Canlubang, Laguna seeks a Licensed Laboratory Technician to support the Chemist in testing finished products using validated methods such as HPLC. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities include preparing samples, operating HPLC and other lab instruments, generating COAs, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring GMP and SHE compliance in a busy laboratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Laboratory Technology or allied course.
• Licensed Laboratory Technician.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in written and oral communications; skilled in HPLC operation and basic troubleshooting; able to multitask and stay professional.
• Willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chemist in testing finished products using validated methods such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for testing activities. Ensure all test results are documented accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as HPLC, pH meters, and analytical balances as instructed by the Chemist.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) and compile supporting chromatograms, for final review by the Chemist.
• Monitor the preventive maintenance schedule of the equipment. Conditions and performs basic troubleshooting and cleaning of instruments as per SOPs and elevate issues to the Chemist as needed.
• Monitor stocks levels of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies; submits monthly inventory reports to the Chemist for consolidation. Maintains an organized and clean laboratory workspace compliant with GMP and safety standards.
• Conducts random sampling and physical inspections; evaluates samples, record inspections and rejects any products or materials that do not meet established quality standards.
• Adheres to all mandated Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) rules and practice safety in all areas of operation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemistry or Laboratory Technology or any allied course.

• Must be a Licensed Laboratory Technician.

• At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in relevant industry.

• Required Skill(s): Proficient in written and oral communications, knowledgeable in the operation of HPLC and can perform basic troubleshooting of the unit, able to multitask, work under pressure, make effective decision and display high standards of professionalism and integrity.
