Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a meticulous Laboratory Analyst to support quality control and production with accurate test results. You will perform analyses, handle reagents, maintain records, and ensure safety and compliance.
The ideal candidate holds a BS Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering (or related) and a Chemical Technician License, with experience in a lab or manufacturing setting, strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
NOW HIRING: LABORATORY ANALYST
We are looking for a Laboratory Analyst who is detail-oriented, analytical, safety-conscious, and committed to producing accurate and reliable laboratory results to support quality control and production activities.
You will be responsible for supporting laboratory and quality activities by:
Conducting chemical and laboratory analyses according to established procedures, standards, and required parameters
Receiving, identifying, preparing, and analyzing samples while ensuring proper traceability
Preparing and handling laboratory reagents, solutions, and materials
Operating laboratory instruments and equipment properly and performing routine checks as required
Recording, evaluating, and reporting analytical results accurately and within the required timeframe
Reviewing test results and immediately reporting abnormal or out-of-specification results
Maintaining complete and accurate laboratory records, worksheets, and reports
Performing routine laboratory housekeeping and ensuring work areas are clean and organized
Following proper chemical handling, storage, waste disposal, and laboratory safety procedures
Reporting equipment issues, testing concerns, and other abnormalities to the immediate supervisor
Complying with company policies, quality standards, and established laboratory procedures
Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, or related course
Chemical Technician License is required.
Experience in laboratory analysis, quality control, or a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Knowledge of chemical analysis methods, laboratory practices, and quality control procedures
Familiarity with laboratory instruments, equipment, reagents, and safety practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills
