Job summary

A leading technology firm in Laguna is seeking a lab technician responsible for conducting tests, managing samples, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree and have 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting. This role demands attention to detail and knowledge of safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested.
  • Determining and performing tests needed for analysis and report.
  • Recording tests and analyses and reporting results.
  • Discussing results and answering any questions.
  • Organizing and storing samples in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration.
  • Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs.
  • Staying current on technical and scientific advances.
  • Handling overall laboratory and research development.
  • Custodian of laboratory and after sales equipment.
  • Preparation of samples requested by sales.
  • Updating COA, TDS, and SDS of all products.
  • Calibration of laboratory and after sales equipment.
  • Conducting Jar Testing on-site and in the laboratory.
  • Overall Quality Control of products prior to delivery.
  • Signing Certificate of Analysis prior to delivery.
  • Conducting orientation seminars for handling chemical safety.
  • Handling production operation and delegating upcoming orders.
  • Providing technical support to operations.

  • Handles Overall Research and Development
  • Laboratory equipment custodian (laboratory equipment and after sales equipment)
  • Preparation of samples as requested by sales
  • Preparation, updating of COA, TDS and SDS of allproducts
  • Calibration of laboratory equipments/after sales equipments
  • Conduct Jar Testing on site as per request
  • Conduct Jar Testing in laboratory as per request
  • Overall Quality Control of products prior delivery
  • Signatory for Certificate of Analysis of products prior delivery
  • Conduct Orientation Seminars for Handling Chemical Safety as requested by Clients
  • Handles Production Operation, delegates upcoming orders for preparation and mixing of Products.
  • Support to Operations in terms of Technical Matters
