Job summary

GJH SERCONS, INC. in Silang, Cavite, Philippines, is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to ensure quality systems and procedures, preventing defects and minimizing risk to personnel, product, and environment. You will perform chemical analyses to verify product conformity with management and client standards.

The role requires a BS Chemistry or related course and valid registration. Candidates with at least 1 year in an analyst position, willingness to work shifting hours, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry or related degree required.
• Registered Chemist or Registered Chemical Technician certification required.
• At least 1 year in an Analysts/Laboratory role preferred.
• Willing to work shifting schedules and extended hours.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures complete and correct labels and packaging for every delivery made.
• Ensures that every product delivered meets customer specifications.
• Minimizes source and propagation of quality defects.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the process.
• Conducts chemical analysis of various product parameters.
• Tests raw materials before receiving and finished goods before delivery.
• Implements the SOPs together with necessary protective equipment.
• Ensures the workplace is adequate to perform laboratory procedures.
• Provides an Incident Report and communicates with QA Supervisor for any incident.
• Prepares Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product delivered.

About the role

Ensure the implementation of quality systems and procedures to avoid and minimize quality defects and complaints. Follow standard procedures to prevent incidents and reduce risk to personnel, product, and the environment. Perform chemicals analysis to make sure that quality of products comply the standards and specification set by management and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures that the workplace is adequate to perform laboratory procedures

• Provides an Incident Report and communicate with QA Supervisor for any type of incident happened within or outside the Laboratory

• Prepares Certificate of Analysis (COA) of every product delivered

About you

• Graduate of BS Chemistry or Any Chemistry related Course

• Registered Chemist/ Registered Chemical Technician

• At least 1 year in an Analysts Position is preferred (Similar but not limited to Laboratory)

• Can work in shifting schedules and extended working hours

• Computer literate in MS Office and Google Workspace

• Competitive analytical skills
