Job summary

SGS Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Data Analyst to join our Global Business Solutions center. You will validate, calculate and report lab results for EHS matrix samples in a chemistry lab, ensuring compliance with ISO17025 and SGS quality standards.

You will work under the Affiliate lab manager or supervisor, performing data processing, LIMS entries and quality control checks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science field.
• Minimum 1 year lab experience with at least 6 months SEM, HPLC, GC or GC-MS exposure.
• Experience with LIMS and data review is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
• Perform data processing, including calculations, quality checks and LIMS entries.
• Ensure on-time lab results and escalate delays to supervisor.
• Follow ISO17025 and SGS lab standards for testing methods.
• Notify Affiliate personnel of operational issues affecting performance or turnaround.
• Support process improvements for quality, efficiency and accuracy.
