Job summary

SGS in the Philippines is seeking a Data Analyst with experience in laboratory testing (microbiology) to support data entry, management, and reporting in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or similar database. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to SGS quality standards.

The successful candidate will perform data validation, maintain customer databases, and assist with data quality projects while ensuring compliance with lab deadlines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year university degree from an internationally accredited institution.
• At least one year data entry/management/verification experience is a plus.
• Commitment to data quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Enter data, register jobs and validate accuracy in the lab's LIMS or other databases.
• Produce reports documenting reviews and changes as required.
• Ensure lab deadlines are met and notify the GBS Team Coordinator if turnaround times cannot be met.
• Support operational improvement activities to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Respond to technical queries and keep the work area clean and compliant with policies.
