SGS is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Makati, Philippines to perform analyses per the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and to report results in accordance with SGS Quality Management System (QMS) policies. The role includes preparing reagents, standardizing solutions, and maintaining equipment.

The candidate will interpret test results, document outcomes, and support coaching of junior lab staff while ensuring safety and compliance with the company’s QHSEE policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a university or college degree in BS Microbiology or BS Biology with Microbiology specialization.
• Preferably registered microbiologist.
• Experience in laboratory testing and reporting per QMS policies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform analyses as defined in the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and report results per QMS policies.
• Prepare reagents and test solutions and standardize volumetric solutions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for analyses.
• Maintain accurate documentation, worksheets, and data records.
